Newsletter, RICFE
For our June quarterly training session, we were fortunate enough to have Chris Marquet of Marquet International present at our Chapter.  On June 20th, Chris presented "Understanding Employee Theft & Identifying the Warning Signs" to 85 attendees at Chelo's in Warwick.  Many current Rhode Island fraud cases were highlighted in his presentation as well as statistics on the major embezzlement cases in Rhode Island in recent years.  Also highlighted in the presentation were interesting facts about what motivates fraudsters depending upon their geographical location.
